We are excited to welcome your student to 5 weeks of learning, adventure and fun! Our Summer Academy will be held Monday-Thursday, May 31st through June 30th at the Elementary School Campus (4-8 campus). Each day will start with breakfast being served at 7:45AM in the cafeteria. At 8:00AM the academic session will begin, followed by lunch and then the afternoon enrichment session. Summer school will end daily at 3:30. All students will go on weekly fieldtrips, participate in Mad Science demonstrations, enjoy yummy summer treats, and so much more! The Wilson School District is looking for a highly qualified and Certified Teachers to teach for the 2022-2023 School Year. College graduates, Student Teachers and Teacher Interns are always encouraged to apply. We offer a competitive hiring salary. Our hiring salary is $42,504.00 to $43,504.00 per year. Classroom Site Fund/Prop 301 (additional $2,504 is included), up to 10 years of Teacher experience. Teachers with the following education level can earn the additional salary: BA+15hrs ($1,140), BA+30 ($2,280), BA+45/MA ($3,420). Other possible payment (if eligible) $3,000 for National Board-Certified Teacher, $1,500 for BLE, $1,000 for ESL, $500 for Prov ESL. Performance Pay up to $4,000.00. Therefore, on April 13th our Governing Board voted to make mask-wearing optional. Thank you for your constant cooperation through out this school year!
